The Fabergé X Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Collection is Here!
Historic fine jewelry house Fabergé is toasting Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the upcoming sequel to the classic 1988 Tim Burton film Beetlejuice, with the release of a clever collection inspired by the beloved and spooky movie starring Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton.
The diamond-studded Fabergé x Beetlejuice Beetlejuice collection is a collaboration between the jeweler and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, and was brought to life by Fabergé's creative leaders in partnership with one of Burton's closest collaborators.
Burton's films, which include Beetlejuice, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Edward Scissorhands, have their own unique look: goth-inspired, yes, but also acutely graphic and darkly romantic. Burton's longtime collaborator, Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood, plays a key role in achieving these aesthetics on-screen.
Burton, Atwood, and Fabergé's head of design, Liisa Tallgren, and creative director, Josina von dem Bussche-Kessell, came together to create the collection. "Colleen and Tim are true innovators and creative geniuses in their storytelling," said Von dem Bussche-Kessell in a statement, "and together we have created a collection which is modern and humorous and pays homage to their work on the big screen. It has been an extremely harmonious collaboration, filled with pure joy all the way. I am very proud of what we’ve achieved together.”
Burton said in the same statement, "This collaboration with Fabergé is a very exciting opportunity to merge the world of Beetlejuice with the legendary jewelry house – I am very honored.”

The collection, which is priced from $8,442 to $20,520, is comprised of 18k white gold earrings, pendants, lapel pins, collar bars, and rings, inspired by the shape of a spiral (a very Beetlejuice motif), and by two Beetlejuice characters: Headworm and Sandworm.
Each piece features a Gemfields emerald or ruby; the rubies were responsibly mined at Montepuez Ruby Mining in Mozambique, and the emeralds were mined at Kagem Mining in Zambia (both mines are majority owned and operated by Gemfields). The pieces are also dripping with round, brilliant-cut diamonds. Because, Fabergé. The styles are painted with black, red or green UV enamel—another brand hallmark. There are also odes to the brand's famous bejeweled eggs (see below).

“I was inspired by the original Beetlejuice film, in which a character called Betelgeuse, the Afterlife’s leading bio-exorcist, appears as an eerie creature with a carousel head and spiral arms that unwind to form arms with mallets for hands," Tallgren said in the same statement. "Throughout the films, Betelgeuse is dressed in a black and white suit, so we have dressed our collection in the same style to epitomize this. The green glow of the Afterlife is reflected in the emeralds, and the red rubies are reminiscent of the red wedding dress and suit, both of which feature in one of Betelgeuse’s dreams. The world of Beetlejuice has mysterious black and white striped Sandworms with red eyes and green lips, again reflected in the use of rubies and emeralds, which have also inspired the spiraling snake rings. The collar bars in the collection are inspired by the Headworm, one of the forms that Betelgeuse takes to terrorize the living.”

Atwood added, "I really can’t believe I'm part of something so perfectly attuned to design and craft. I have immensely enjoyed the process of putting pencil to paper and watching our ideas evolve. There are no real barriers to bringing creativity to beautiful gems, each one with its own nuanced color, and there are almost limitless possibilities with design. A quirky sense of fun is reflected in this collection and the hypnotic spirals and characterful motifs epitomize the spirit of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice."
